Timmy & Freddy Pictures REDONE!!!!

Hoooray! I took a little advice from my photo teacher and made what I think to be a much better picture. The intensity of the colors and the motion blur make it a little more pleasing.

This one Also I think looks much better. I took the emphasis and really put it on Freddy. I added in a great colored pencil look along with motion blur. The re-cropping of this I like because it hes running into the frame which is positioned at first. So its like "hes hit the ball and off to the races".

1) Opposite Field Freddy: f/5.6, 1/800s, ISO800
2) Big Time Timmy Jim: f/4.8, 1/1250s, ISO 800

Had a great time in Scottsdale for Spring Training 2011. World Champions still sounds so great. Watching all of the stars up close was new to me because our seats in AT&T or whatever they call it now aren't as close. Got some sweet pics here. All I really did was add the vignettes. I am missing the sun already as its snowing here in Montana. GO GIANTS!

Giants Champs Banner: f/9, 10s, ISO 100
Matt 5-Iron: f/13, 1/320s, ISO 400

Mark Sand Practice: f/16, 1/320s, ISO 400

Still trying to get the hang of my camera. New ideas for what settings I should be using pop into my head every day. I wish I had widened the aperture and made the shutter speed quicker for the sports shots. My landscape-focused-mind doesn't quite work as well because trees don't move like the blast of sand from the club. I will get more chances though. Just have to keep at it.

Just a Few Recent Pictures

Here are just a few photos I took since getting back to Billings about a month ago. I have finally started to get my camera down a little better, although it still takes some experimenting every time. Once I begin to remember settings things will go smoother. If I could get a little better with my focus I would be very pleased. I need to mess with some of the modes on my camera.
1)AJ at ski weekend. f/8, 1/500 s, ISO 800, 68mm.
2)Guitar in my room. f/5, 1/2 s, ISO 400, 35mm.
3)Becca before leaving. f/10,1/125 s, ISO200, 32mm.
